بموافقة صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير عبدالعزيز بن طلال بن عبدالعزيز ، رئيس مجلس إدارة برنامج الخليج العربي للتنمية “اجفند” وبإجماع أعضاء مجلس الإدارة ممثلي دول الخليج العربي، أعلن أجفند تعيين همّام بن ناصر بن جريّد مديرًا تنفيذيًا لـ “أجفند”، لقيادة الإدارة التنفيذية خلال المرحلة المقبلة، وذلك خلال الاجتماع الثاني والثلاثين لمجلس الإدارة المنعقد في الرياض.
ورحّب سموه وأعضاء المجلس بالمدير التنفيذي المعيّن، مؤكدين أن التعيين يأتي ضمن توجه البرنامج لتطوير منظومته المؤسسية، ورفع كفاءة الأداء، وتوسيع الأثر التنموي إقليميًا ودوليًا.
كما ثمّن سمو رئيس مجلس الإدارة الجهود التي قدّمها الدكتور ناصر بن بكر القحطاني خلال مسيرته في “أجفند”، مشيرًا إلى إسهاماته في تطوير العمل المؤسسي وتعزيز التخطيط الإستراتيجي وبناء الشراكات، منذ التحاقه بالبرنامج عام 1993 وتولّيه مهام المدير التنفيذي عام 1998.
وأعلن سموه تعيين الدكتور القحطاني مستشارًا للرئيس ومبعوثًا لأجفند، تقديرًا لعطائه ودعمًا لاستمرارية الأثر المؤسسي للبرنامج.

HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Appoints Hammam bin Juraid as CEO and Dr. Nasser AlKahtani as Chairman’s Advisor and AGFUND Envoy

Riyadh – January 1, 2026
Upon the approval of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of AGFUND’s Board of Directors, and by the consensus of the Board of Directors representing the Arab Gulf States, AGFUND announced the appointment of Hammam bin Nasser bin Juraid as CEO of AGFUND, to lead the executive management in the upcoming phase, during the thirty-second meeting of the Board of Directors, held in Riyadh.
His Royal Highness and the Board welcomed the appointed Executive Director, emphasizing this appointment as part of the AGFUND’s approach to developing its institutional system, enhancing performance efficiency, and expanding developmental impact regionally and internationally.
His Royal Highness also commended the efforts of Dr. Nasser bin Bakr AlKahtani during his career at AGFUND, highlighting his contributions to developing institutional work, strengthening strategic planning, and building partnerships since joining AGFUND in 1993 and later his role as Executive Director in 1998.
Furthermore, His Royal Highness announced the appointment of Dr. AlKahtani as Chairman’s Advisor and AGFUND Envoy, in recognition of his contributions and in support of the continued institutional framework of AGFUND.
